In this workshop, participants will familiarize themselves with the strokes and shapes of Cancelleresque cursive writing by initially practicing with commonly used tools. They will then move on to reproduce the letters of this alphabet with the truncated tip nib. We will make and decorate in calligraphy a small “pocket book”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So much for boredom; embroidery is a fun technique that develops to creativity. With this workshop, participants will learn basic embroidery stitches and then go on to execute them on paper. The workshop will begin with the construction of a writing instrument for expressive calligraphy (Colapen), made from a soda can or a simple tin can. Participants will have the opportunity to freely explore the potential of this tool combined with paper and ink.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Two bookbinding techniques that can be done without special equipment, based on folds, will be demonstrated, allowing participants to make two projects in the form of a “pocket book.” The projects will then be decorated by affixing stamps and letters and can become containers for anything worth preserving.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
